    ANYCUBIC Photon Mono 2 4K Enlarge Print Volume 6.49'' x 5.62'' x 3.5''with 6.6'' 4K + LCD Monochrome Screen

    Model: Photon mono 2 4k

6.6’’ 4K+ HD screen: ANYCUBIC Photon Mono 2 uses a 6.6-inch monochrome LCD screen with a resolution of 4096*2560, which can display the models’tiny details. This can fully meet the printing needs of miniature models, and is a very good choice for upgrading from FDM printers to LCD printers

      DESCRIPTION

Upgraded LighTurbo Matrix: Compare with ordinary matrix light source, Anycubic LighTurbo matrix provides a more stable and uniform parallel light source, which can effectively reduce the layer lines and eliminate grid lines. Therefore, Photon Mono 2 can make the model details more vivid and the model surface delicate and smooth.
Larger Build Volume: The printing volume of Photon Mono 2 is 165x143x89mm, which is larger than that of Photon Mono 4K of the same machine size. It can meet the needs of saving placement space and printing large models.
High Printing Success Rate: Photon Mono 2 adopts laser engraved platform. It has excellent flatness, which can increase model adhesion and greatly improve printing success rate. And LCD Screen protector has also been enlarged to better protect the screen from accidents such as resin leaks and scratches.
New Version Slicing Software: Photon workshop 3.0 has enhanced and upgraded core features such as slicing, punching, support adding, shells extracting, and model arrangement. It has a more straightforward slicing process and a new UI interface that is easier to operate.

      About THIS item

      Photon mono 2 4k Reviews
Hello, first of all, I am very happy to have purchased this type of product, it is very useful. I have a question, my machine is experiencing UV light which is only partially shining, what is this caused by and how do I solve it? The result is that only half of the mold or the part exposed to UV light is successfully finished. thank you in advance, I want my machine to recover again.

I've been 3D printing since 2020, but until recently, it had all been FDM printing. However SLA printing was something that I had wanted to do, and with Anycubic's recent sale, I almost had no choice. Seriously, the sales were Black Friday good. I got me a Photon Mono 2, and it's served me well ever since. Thanks to some previous research, and my familiarity with 3D printers from my FDM 3D printing, it was a breeze. The one noobish thing I ever did- DON'T EVER CONSIDER DOING THIS- was putting the Mono 2 outside on my porch. In a roofed shed would be perfect, but not on your porch. Resin is sensitive to UV light, and it just so happens that the SUN also emits UV rays. Something most people know, but not all may remember. So all in all, great experience, but expect some user error.

I got this printer with no real experience with any form of 3d printing and though I didn't find it easy to start off with (which is to be expected with most non industrial 3d printers) I can see that it is capable of some nice prints. I would recommend this printer to anyone who wants to get into resin printing as long as they aren't afraid of spending a good while learning calibration and stuff which I think really applies to most consumer level 3d printers and is an important skill for 3d printing anyway. I spent 3 days calibrating my printer and my prints could still maybe use some work but I believe that is all part of the learning experience. All things considered I am satisfied with my purchase and I think you will be too. With all that said though the usb port is way on the back right side of the printer and this power switch is back there too on the back side of the printer so that is honestly pretty annoying so I can't quite give it five stars also the touch screen can be hard to use so yeah I think 4 stars is at least about right.

Bottom exposure time is insufficient. Please increase the exposure time.
Contact area between the model and platform is small. Please add a raft.
      Bad leveling.
      Layer separation or splitting
The machine is not stable during printing.
The release film is not tight enough or needs a replacement.
The printing platform or resin vat is not tightened.
The lift speed is too fast.
The model is hollowed without punching.
      Layer shift
      Add supports.
      Reduce the lift speed.
Floccules left in resin vat or attached to models·The exposure time is too long. Reduce the normal exposure time andbottom exposure time.
